Zephyr during Phase 2: Everything you need to know

We are so grateful to be open during Phase 2 of Montana’s reopening plan. We’ve included all of our policies below, and while we navigate this brand new territory, we thank you in advance for your patience and for honoring all policies. Your health and safety is, and always has been, our highest priority. Reserve Your Spot In Advance

Clients must reserve their spot in class at least one hour in advance and our late cancel window has increased from 8 to 12 hours, so thank you in advance for planning ahead and committing to class – you’ll be booking one of only a limited number of bikes. As a community full of people who consider one another, we also ask that you reserve space in one class per day so that as many riders can get their Zephyr on as possible.

Add Ons Make It Easy

Need a hair tie? Always use ear plugs? Need shoes, since we’re a clip-in only studio? Add them on to your reservation through our iOS app for free and we’ll have them waiting for you on your bike (along with a clean towel, of course!). You can add your preferred weight size for Uplift and Force classes to your reservation, as well.

Studio Shoes

We are a clip-in only studio, so make sure to bring your cycling shoes (our bikes are SPD or Look Delta clip compatible) or to add a free pair of rental shoes to your reservation when you book.

No Cash

We cannot currently accept cash payments. If you haven’t already, you can save a card to your account profile or read your card information to the front desk for any purchase made in studio.

Water

Please arrive at the studio with a full water bottle. We will also continue to sell water bottles for $2 each.

Cancellation Fees

Due to our extremely limited capacity, we’ve increased our cancellation fees for memberships to $15 for Late Cancels (within 12 hours of class time) and $20 for No Shows. As always, we understand that emergencies occur. If you absolutely cannot make it to class, please be sure to call us at 406.404.1663 as soon as possible.

Checking-In/Entering the Building

We ask that you arrive at the studio no more than ten minutes before class begins, bring only the essentials into the studio with you, and that you check in verbally with a front desk staff member. You can check yourself in using the iOS app on your phone, too!

Hand Sanitizer

We’ll have hand sanitizer available everywhere – including outside the studio. Please use it before entering the building.

Give Each Other Space

You’ll see 6 feet markers throughout the studio – thank you in advance for using them as guidelines for your own movement.

Indoor/Outdoor Classes

While our 5:30 a.m. classes are entirely indoors, all of our other classes are occurring both inside and outside – you’ll see when you book your bike that you can choose either an indoor our outdoor bike. If weather forces us entirely indoors, you’ll receive a notification via email with the option to cancel your reservation without penalty.

Showers

Shower rooms remain temporarily closed.

 

 

Where is Zephyr located and where do I park?

Zephyr is located at 2000 S Third Ave, Unit B, in the middle of the blue building adjacent to Freshies Café (a great spot for post-ride fuel!) on the corner of South Third Avenue and West Kagy. We have plenty of parking — you are welcome to park in any of the undesignated parking spaces.

Do you have classes for beginners?
We want all riders — new and experienced — to feel comfortable in our classes. While we don’t offer classes specifically for beginners, our instructors cover the basics at the beginning of each class and offer modifications throughout each ride to ensure that all riders feel confident.
Does Zephyr have showers?

Yes, Zephyr has two showers stocked with EO products and bath towels as well as blow dryers for your use. You don’t have to sign up ahead of time to get a shower, first come first serve! *Please note: During our Phase 2 reopening beginning June 1, showers will not be open to the public for the time being.*

Do I need to bring or rent a bike towel?
Zephyr provides complimentary towels for every bike, every class.
Where can I get water?

We have a water fountain for filling up your reusable bottle — don’t forget to bring one! We also sell water bottles for $2.

What should I wear?

Anything in which you feel comfortable sweating. Most people wear workout leggings/bike shorts and a t-shirt or a tank. Don’t forget socks! (But if you do, we sell them!)

Should I wear cycling shoes? Are sneakers okay? Do you rent cycling shoes?

We are a clip-in only studio, so make sure to bring your cycling shoes (our bikes are SPD or Look Delta clip compatible) or to add a free pair of rental shoes to your reservation when you book.

How do I sign up for class?

You can sign up for Zephyr classes one week in advance of the ride you want to take here, or download our iOS app through iTunes or Android app through Google Play to sign up right from your phone (which we highly recommend!).

How do I sign up for my first month of unlimited classes?

Your first month of unlimited classes is only $88. Sign up here to create an account, purchase your first month, check out our schedule and types of classes, book a class. If you ride at least 12 times during your intro month, you can receive half off the first month of a Zephyr annual membership (normally $128/month)!

How can I access student/teacher rates?

Show us a picture of your student/teacher ID or present a valid email address to the front desk and we will tag your account so that you automatically receive discounts on memberships and class passes (including a $99/month annual membership rate and a 10 class pass for $110!)  when you check out online, through the app, over the phone or in person.

Why aren't you on MindBody?

We operate through a different, more nimble platform called Mariana Tek that streamlines your booking experience and several other features including the ability to easily book for guests and choosing your bike for class. Apple and Android users can download our “Zephyr Cycling” app and everyone can log in through our website using the Chrome browser, which is responsive for all devices. Issues? Why do I need to book a bike?
When you make your reservation, you are prompted to book your bike. This allows us to get to know you better and also ensures that you get your stats delivered to you after class. Curious about what we mean by “stats”? Check out the question “What does the email after class mean?”.
What does the email I get after class include?

The email sent to you after class delivers your class stats that mirror the numbers you see on the center console (and more!) after class, including mileage, average wattage, total wattage and calories burned. You can also view your historical stats on our website under your account.

 

What if I need to cancel?

We get it – life happens. Our late cancellation window is 12 hours prior to class. If you cancel before then, we’ll put your class pass back in your account. We do charge a late cancel fee of $15 to those on memberships who cancel less than 12 hours before class. If members fail to cancel before class begins, they will be assessed a $20 no show fee.

Do my class credits expire?

They do! Make sure to check the expiration date on each class pass when you purchase. If you don’t know, just ask.

How do I purchase a gift card?

You can buy an email gift card right from our website or app by clicking/tapping on “buy credits” or you can stop by the studio if you would like a physical gift card.

What does zephyr mean?

Zephyr means a light, westward wind. Every class at Zephyr will rejuvenate, refresh, and elevate your body and mind – just as a light breeze on a warm summer day in Montana might do.

What are the perks of being an annual member at Zephyr?

We have a variety of membership and class package options which you can view here, but we have a few perks for our annual/12-month members that we think are pretty cool! Annual members receive 1 free guest pass per month and 15% off at our partner studios, Pure Barre and Ekam Yoga. They also receive massage, facial and product discounts at Complete Body Works. Plus, annual members can freeze their accounts at any time throughout the year (two weeks minimum, three months maximum).
