Know before you go: Zephyr Policies & FAQ
New to the studio? We’re so glad you’re here. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch with us with any questions at all by emailing hello@zephyrcyclingstudio.com or calling us at 406-404-1663 anytime.
New clients & guests of current clients: Arrive early!
New clients must arrive to the studio no later than 10 minutes before class time. If you arrive less than 10 minutes before class, we reserve the right to book you into another class at a different time. Getting properly set up on the bike is one of the most important parts of your Zephyr experience, and it’s crucial that we’re able to take the time to help you do so before class begins. Thank you!
Reserve your spot in advance.
Clients must reserve their spot in class at least 10 minutes in advance and our late cancel window is 12 hours, so thank you in advance for planning ahead and committing to class. As a community full of people who consider one another, we also ask that you reserve space in one class per day so that as many riders can get their Zephyr on as possible.
Check in – in person and on your phone.
We encourage you to check yourself in using the Zephyr app once you reach the studio. Please also verbally give your name to the front desk when you arrive.
Street shoe free zone.
We require that you leave your street shoes in the lobby before heading in for class.
Cycling shoe rentals for $3.
We require indoor-only clip-in shoes. If you don’t have clip-in shoes, you can rent a pair for $3 from the studio when you arrive.
The nitty gritty: cancellation policies.
Our cancellation window is 12 hours. Cancellation fees for those on memberships is $15 for a late cancel and $20 for a no show, and those using class packages will lose a credit, so please plan ahead accordingly to avoid a loss of a class credit or a fee.
Give yourself time – and space.
Plan to arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes before class begins. Conversely, give yourself enough time to get to class – no late entry once a class begins.
Hydrate.
Don’t forget your water bottle! We have a water fountain for use for all your refilling needs. We do sell water for $2, as well.
Be in touch.
Don’t hesitate to call us at 406-404-1663, or email us at hello@zephyrcyclingstudio.com with any questions.
I hear there’s a deal for my first two weeks of unlimited classes. Tell me about it?!
You can sign up for your first two weeks of unlimited classes at one time rate of $49 – it also includes two guest passes, so bring your friends. Sign up here to create an account, purchase your first pass, check out our schedule and types of classes, book a class. If you ride at least 5 times during your first two weeks, you can receive 20% off the first month of a Zephyr multi-month membership, or 15% off any regularly priced class package. Email or call us at hello@zephyrcyclingstudio.com/406.404.1663 with questions.
Where is Zephyr located and where do I park?
Zephyr is located at 2000 S Third Ave, Unit B, in the middle of the blue building adjacent to Freshies Café (a great spot for post-ride fuel!) on the corner of South Third Avenue and West Kagy. We have plenty of parking — you are welcome to park in any of the undesignated parking spaces.
How can I access student/teacher rates?
Show us a picture of your student/teacher ID or present a valid email address to the front desk and we will tag your account so that you automatically receive discounts on memberships and class passes when you check out online, through the app, over the phone or in person. You can also email a picture of your ID to hello@zephyrcyclingstudio.com.
Do you have classes for beginners?
We want all riders – new and experienced – to feel comfortable in our classes. While we don’t offer classes specifically for beginners regularly, our instructors cover the basics at the beginning of each class and offer modifications throughout each ride to ensure that all riders feel confident.
Always watch the schedule for Z101, which we offer periodically and which covers everything from bike set up and proper form to choreography and class structure. It’s free!
What’s the deal with the waitlist?
Join them – they work! Our booking software automatically adds clients to class from the waitlist up to 1 hour prior to the beginning of class and you will be notified via email if you’ve been added from the waitlist to class. If a spot opens up less than 1 hour prior to class, we will call you to ask if you’d like it – so make sure you have our number saved (406.404.1663). Be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist if your plans have changed, as our cancellation policy still applies should you be added to class 1 hour or more ahead of time.
Does Zephyr have showers?
Yes, Zephyr has two showers stocked with EO products and bath towels as well as blow dryers for your use. You don’t have to sign up ahead of time to get a shower, first come first serve!
What if I need to cancel?
We get it – life happens. Our late cancellation window is 12 hours prior to class. If you cancel before then, we’ll put your class pass back in your account. We do charge a late cancel fee of $15 to those on memberships who cancel less than 12 hours before class. If members fail to cancel before class begins, they will be assessed a $20 no show fee.

Do I need to bring or rent a bike towel?
Zephyr provides complimentary towels for every bike, every class.
What does the email I get after class include?
The email sent to you after class delivers your class stats that mirror the numbers you see on the center console (and more!) after class, including mileage, average wattage, total wattage and calories burned. You can also view your historical stats on our website under your account.
Where can I get water?
We have a water fountain for filling up your reusable bottle — don’t forget to bring one! We also sell water bottles for $2.
Do my class credits expire? What if I need to cancel my membership?
All of our class packages expire one year from date of purchase, except for our walk in credit, which expires one month from date of purchase. No exceptions.
Our memberships have different commitment lengths. If you need to cancel your membership before your commitment is reached, the fee to do so is one month’s dues. After you’ve reached your minimum commitment, inform us at least 30 days in advance in writing that you’d like to cancel your membership by emailing hello@zephyrcyclingstudio.com.
What should I wear?
Anything in which you feel comfortable sweating. Most people wear workout leggings/bike shorts and a t-shirt or a tank. Don’t forget socks! (But if you do, we sell them!)
How do I purchase a gift card?
You can buy an email gift card right from our website or app by clicking/tapping on “buy credits” or you can stop by the studio if you would like a physical gift card.
Should I wear cycling shoes? Are sneakers okay? Do you rent cycling shoes?
We are a clip-in only studio, so make sure to bring your cycling shoes (our bikes are SPD or Look Delta clip compatible) or to add a pair of rental shoes to your reservation for $3 when you book.
What does zephyr mean?
Zephyr means a light, westward wind. Every class at Zephyr will rejuvenate, refresh, and elevate your body and mind – just as a light breeze on a warm summer day in Montana might do.
How do I sign up for class?
You can sign up for Zephyr classes one week in advance of the ride you want to take here, or download our iOS app through iTunes or Android app through Google Play to sign up right from your phone (which we highly recommend!).
